Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests work for InstaSeer paid subscriptions.
InstaSeer is a digital subscription service for public Instagram research. Because access is provided immediately and may involve paid provider usage, our refund policy is designed to be simple, predictable, and fair.
1. Free Preview
InstaSeer offers a free preview so users can evaluate the product before upgrading. We encourage you to use the free preview and sample reports before starting a paid subscription.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the in-app billing portal, Stripe customer portal, or by contacting support.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by law or approved by us, cancelling does not automatically refund the current billing period.
3. Refund Window
If you accidentally purchased a paid plan or forgot to cancel, contact us within 7 days of the charge.
We may approve a refund when the request is made within 7 days of the charge, the account has not used substantial paid provider credits during that billing period, and there is no evidence of abuse, fraud, repeated refund requests, or violation of the Terms.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Unless required by law, refunds are generally not provided for partial months, unused time after cancellation, downgrades made after a renewal, accounts that used substantial paid provider credits, completed exports or reports generated through paid provider usage, failure to cancel before renewal, violation of the Terms of Service, or abuse of free trials, credits, promotions, or refund requests.
5. Service Issues
If a technical problem caused paid features to be unavailable or prevented reasonable use of the Service, contact us. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund, account credit, plan extension, or other reasonable remedy.
Provider limitations, incomplete public data, unavailable public profiles, missing media fields, cache behavior, or changing third-party data do not automatically qualify for a refund. InstaSeer reports are best-effort outputs and are not guaranteed to include a full account history.
6. Duplicate Charges
If you believe you were charged twice for the same subscription period, contact us with the email used for billing and the charge date. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded or corrected.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@instaseer.com or submit a billing ticket through the contact page.
Include your account email, charge date, plan name, reason for the request, and any relevant screenshots or Stripe receipt information. Do not send full credit card numbers.
8. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will show when it was last changed.
