Is there a free InstaSeer plan?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 forever and needs no credit card. It includes 50 monthly credits: enough for one complete 25-post live report. Sample reports remain free to open and do not use credits. Create your free report whenever you are ready.
Which paid plan should I pick?
Choose Creator at $9/month for individual research and up to 250 posts per report. Choose Plus at $29/month for ongoing competitor tracking and up to 500 posts per report. Pick Pro at $99/month for deeper audits, up to 2,000 posts per report, the highest monthly research credits, and priority support. You can switch plans as your volume changes.
How do monthly credits and one-time packs work?
A fresh report uses at least 50 credits and otherwise tracks the requested row count. Free includes 50 credits, Creator 1,500, Plus 5,000, and Pro 18,000 per month. If a project temporarily exceeds your plan, buy a non-expiring pack without changing the subscription.
What happens when a search fails?
You lose nothing. Failed provider searches do not consume paid credits. If a public profile cannot be loaded, retry later, run a smaller report, or open a sample report in the meantime.
What changes when I upgrade from Free?
Creator, Plus, and Pro add CSV export, deeper post limits, more monthly research credits, and saved research capabilities. Plus is the default recommendation for recurring competitor tracking; Pro is designed for deep-volume audits and priority support.
Do I need to connect my Instagram account?
No. You never log into or connect an Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Meta account, and you never share credentials. Reports are built only from visible public posts, so there is zero risk to your own accounts.
How do billing, cancellation, and credit packs work?
Paid plans bill monthly or annually through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel anytime from the billing portal with no cancellation fee. Credit packs are one-time purchases and never auto-renew. InstaSeer never sees or stores your card details.
What is the refund policy?
If you upgraded by accident or forgot to cancel, contact support within 7 days of the charge and we will review it under the refund policy. Verified duplicate charges are always refunded or corrected.
