Current plan prices, post-credit allowances, research limits and storage capacities are shown on the pricing page. Current catalog terms apply to new offers; accepted purchases retain their own terms.
All three plans include account research, post history, available coauthor and mention evidence, calculated performance views, comparison of owned reports and standard CSV export. A mention does not establish a collaboration or paid partnership. Saved accounts organize projects; they do not restrict which public accounts you can research.
Research credits
- One credit pays for one unique post delivered for one account in a usable report. A reel or carousel counts as one post.
- Choose any whole-number post limit within your available balance. The maximum is 500 posts for Starter, 2,500 for Plus and 5,000 for Pro. New subscriptions have no separate monthly fresh-account run allowance.
- Your selected maximum is reserved before collection. Only delivered unique posts are charged. A request for 250 posts that delivers 183 costs 183 credits and returns 67. No usable report means all reserved credits are returned.
- Two researched accounts are charged independently. A shared post delivered in both reports counts once per account.
- Reopening, searching, filtering, sorting, comparing and exporting saved reports uses no research credits. A separately confirmed fresh collection is charged again, including posts present in an earlier report.
- Credits refresh monthly within your verified paid subscription period. Previously accepted annual payment funds 12 monthly allowances, released on your subscription anniversary each month, rather than all at once. Short months use their last day when needed; the original anniversary resumes in longer months. Unused credits do not roll over. There are no automatic overage charges.
- AI generation, video analysis, original media downloads, automated monitoring and team seats are not included in this launch package.
- A depth is a maximum number of available posts, not a guarantee of complete history or a date range.
Billing and access
New subscription prices and available billing intervals are shown on the pricing page. Cancel renewal anytime; paid access continues through the end of the paid period. Subscription content then has its 30-day read and export window. New research and saves stop when paid access ends. Separately purchased reports retain their independent access period.
Previously purchased subscriptions, including annual subscriptions and plans with run allowances, retain their accepted prices, credits, limits and renewal terms. Selecting a new offer does not silently replace an existing contract. Subscription changes require the applicable reviewed confirmation.
Refunds and payment disputes
The prospective terms version is research-payment-future-spending-1. New checkout pages and reviewed plan changes show the applicable notice before acceptance. The language and text shown are recorded with the accepted terms.
For new purchases that include these refund terms, a confirmed full refund removes only unused, unreserved future spending funded by that payment. Credits and runs already used are preserved, accepted work can finish, and saved reports keep their agreed read and export rights. A partial refund requires review of the exact remaining credits and runs; its monetary percentage does not automatically determine a credit adjustment. Earlier purchases and renewals on their existing agreements keep their accepted refund terms.
An open payment dispute may temporarily hold future spending from that payment. When complete current evidence confirms a dispute was won or closed in our favor, only its matching hold is removed. A final loss covering the whole payment removes that payment's remaining future spending; a partial loss requires exact review. Other payment sources, independent account restrictions, report rights and original expiry dates remain governed by their own terms. Pending or uncertain refunds are not reported as successful. Any goodwill exception must be explicitly authorized for its exact refund and does not automatically cover a dispute, replenish credits or extend access.
When offered, an upgrade of an existing plan with credit and fresh-run allowances requires a separate review and acceptance. The review shows the payment due, recurring price, added credits and runs, and their expiry. Added allowances are the difference between the two plans’ monthly allowances multiplied by the fraction of your current paid monthly allowance period remaining, rounded down separately to whole credits and runs. Existing usage and reservations are retained. Added allowances become available after payment and the plan change are confirmed. If payment needs authentication or another attempt, continue with the same invoice from Billing. This upgrade keeps your billing frequency; it does not switch monthly billing to annual billing.
When offered, a monthly-to-annual change requires a separate review and acceptance. Your current paid monthly period stays unchanged. The full new plan and annual price take effect at its end, as shown in the review. After the annual payment is confirmed, credits remain available in monthly allowance periods without rollover; a later payment makes the current applicable monthly allowance available. Continue any required payment authentication with the same invoice in Billing. A scheduled change can be canceled before it takes effect when Billing offers that action.
A free Instaseer account is required to run a free check of up to 25 posts. A credit card and Instagram login are not required. CSV, JSON and creator-list exports from free checks or the public example require an active paid subscription. Previously purchased reports keep their accepted export rights.
New storage add-ons are not available for purchase. Existing add-ons retain their accepted capacity, price, currency, billing frequency and access terms. Storage adds no research credits.
Credit packs and previous report purchases
Anyone with an Instaseer account can buy a credit pack at the price shown at checkout. Each pack contains 1,000 post credits and 20 fresh-account runs. A subscription is not required. Unused pack credits and runs do not expire. Pack-funded reports include 12 calendar months of private access from delivery, independently of subscription storage, with optimized thumbnails and standard CSV export. Original media and subscription projects are not included.
Each new account collection uses the funding pool confirmed before it starts. Monthly allowances and purchased packs are shown separately; a request does not silently combine them. Choose a maximum of 1–1,000 posts per account, initially 250. One fresh account reserves one run alongside its post credits; two fresh comparison accounts reserve two. A usable partial result uses one run and only the unique usable posts delivered. A failed request with no usable result restores both reservations. Retrying the same accepted request does not use another run. Reopening or comparing owned accessible reports uses no new credits or runs.
New individual cash report sales are retired. Existing valid quotes, paid reports and accepted contracts retain their stored amounts, currency, scope, refund and access terms. Report orders placed under the current partial-delivery terms record this wording, the same statement shown on their checkout line:
Available public posts up to your cap. Reaching the end of the account is a complete delivery and keeps its price. If the collection is cut short, you are charged for the largest size at or below the number of posts delivered and the difference is refunded; below the smallest size we sell, or with no deliverable report, that account is refunded in full and the report stays yours.
Reaching the end of an account’s public history is a complete delivery that keeps its price, even when the account has fewer posts than the size bought. Money is returned only when a collection stops early or no report can be delivered. When a collection stops early, the refund is the amount by which the price paid for that account exceeds the current price, in the order’s currency, of the largest size at or below the number of posts delivered; it is never more than the price paid. If the current catalog has no price for that size in the order’s currency, the account keeps its price. Below the smallest size, or with no deliverable report, the account is refunded in full. The amount is calculated once, stored with the order, and shown as refunded after the payment processor confirms it. Report orders placed before these terms keep their original terms: a usable partial cash report keeps its accepted fixed price, and no usable report is owed its accepted item refund. Earlier subscriptions and transferred credits do not acquire new run limits.
Contact support about pack payment problems. Payment must be verified before a pack is credited; a return from checkout alone is not confirmation. No automatic purchase or overage applies.
Existing-customer reward
Eligible existing customers may be offered an explicit opt-in to V5 Plus or Pro at their existing subscription price while that same subscription continues. The V5 monthly allowance replaces the original allowance; credits already used that calendar month count toward the first V5 allowance. V5 project and collection limits apply after acceptance. Original purchased and compensation credits and saved reports retain their existing terms in V5. A failed payment preserves eligibility during recovery, but a new allowance requires a verified paid period. Scheduled cancellations remain in place; the reward ends when that subscription ends. Any account-specific offer must be reviewed and made available before it can be accepted.
Billing currency
Where offered, choose a billing currency before reviewing your purchase. Pricing, checkout and billing records identify that currency. Changing your display language does not change your billing currency or an existing purchase. Annual plans show the full yearly charge; research credits still release monthly. Prices use fixed, rounded local amounts rather than daily exchange-rate conversion. Your accepted subscription price and currency continue with that subscription; changing currency is not currently a self-service subscription change. Existing subscriptions and early-customer terms are preserved.
Refunds for an undelivered account use the amount and currency stored for that account purchase. Your card issuer may apply its own conversion or cross-border charges. Existing storage add-ons retain their accepted price and currency. Contact support about changes to an existing add-on.
Transferred customer credits
Unused original purchased and compensation credits transfer 1:1 into V5 research credits with no expiry. They include access to spend them through Analyze an account without another purchase. Ordinary monthly subscription credits are spent first and keep their existing monthly expiry. Transferred access does not create a new subscription or recurring credit allowance. Existing subscription prices, paid periods and scheduled cancellations are retained. An overdue renewal grants no new monthly credits until payment is verified; transferred purchased and compensation credits remain available.
AI connections
When AI connections are available, reading or comparing your permitted saved V5 reports uses no research credits and requires no separate MCP subscription. You choose the report access and permissions for each connection and may disconnect it in Instaseer. Access still follows each report’s existing terms.
An AI client can prepare a request for fresh research. The account owner must review its accounts, depth, current quote, funding source and permission to share the resulting reports in Instaseer before collection or checkout begins. New research uses the credit settlement and access terms described above; previously accepted cash quotes retain their agreed terms. Preparing a request does not charge credits or start collection. Original credentials and purchased terms are preserved; a V5 connection requires new consent and does not automatically transfer or spend original credits.
